Can someone help me out with Freeboot?
Ok here is the deal:
I have a Zephyr motherboard with revision 4580.(Aka the one that DEFIES all the rules and needs Falcon files, not Zephyr)
I ALSO have done the alternate JTAG points (specifically both AUD_Clamp and the DVD Tray)
I can follow the Alternate JTAG SMC points tutorial in this section that is sticky'd up until Freeboot.
I mean, I can write the XBR3 onto my NAND and get both Xell and the dashboard but I can't seem to get it to Freeboot.
When I use 360 Flash Tool, obviously my original NAND is CB 4580.
But after doing all the patching and following the tutorial, the final NAND I get is 4770. Do you think this is the cause of the problem?
I've tried all different kinds of patching but no one has clear and definite instructions on 4580.
Can someone help me out with Freeboot?
EDIT:
Oh and XBR to Freeboot gives me {smartassembly} error too when I try to do anything all of a sudden. Was working before, but it just suddenly started giving me that crap.
