I have the Hitachi 004DH drive, I intend to flash with Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth firmware. My motherboard is the ASUS Socket 754 K8n I attempted to set the hitachi drive into mode b using the SLAX method on Textbook's tutorial. Everything comes up fine, i eject the drive when it reads spinning up disk, it continues to logon screen. When I got to the login screen I logged in with the provided info then quit out of it. Was I supposed to do something after logging in? Anyhow when windows starts back up I tried checking mode b indicators. Doesn't appear I put it into mode b. So I'm stuck here b/c it's useless to try to flash if it's not in mode b I hear. Any help would be appreciated.
