But i want to install a second HD, can i install any HD or do i need one that has a particular thing? (a tutorial on howto install would be nice, b/c i cant seem to find one)

And will i be able to copy games upon the HD? (maybe a tutorial?)

Buy the x3, it is a superb chip.
The basic procedure is:
1 install x3 ( solder install is highly recomended )
2 Get the latest bios and flash the chip with the built in flashbios utility (cromwell flashbios)
3 Network from your pc into the xbox using a program such as flashfxp and copy the c and e drive to your pc.
4 use the x3 bios to unlock your harddrive and then shut down the xbox.Swap your harddrive and power up into x3 bios menu and use built in harddrive prep tools to partition and format your new drive.
5 network in again and copy back your c and e drive.
reboot.
You can use just about any harddrive, but if you want to carry on using the Microsoft dash then you need to make sure it is lockable. There is a list of drives somewhere in the forums that do lock.
Yes you would be able to backup and run your games from your harddrive using a program like dvd2xbox.
There are loads of tutorials on this forum and http://www.xbox-scene.com/
I believe it's possible to add a second drive but it's probably easier to just change it.

Nope i'm sorry it's not possible to have 2 hdd's running at the same time. You can only have a second one installed and swap between them when required.

Heres your tutorial on how to install a new HDD....

Unplug power and IDE from old hard drive. Unscrew the 4 screws. Now reverse that order on the new HDD and you are done....easy huh....only thing to keep in mind is to make sure that the new HDDs jumper is set to "CS" or cable select. If its brand new out of the box it should be set to that from the factory.

if its bigger then 120gb install it upside down and turn up the fan or youll just have heat issues in the long run to add to that
