OK well i have been reading all over the place to see if anyone else has had this problem but nobody has... my problem is when i try to update my ihas with the updates from firmware hq they wont work. When i go to run the updater it says it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Any clue as to why this is happening? BTW my drive is ihas 424 b.

Where are you getting your firmware from? Are you not using the firmware that came in the original pack?

Be sure your running the update for your specific drive model and download it from a reputable source, I believe the updates come come together with the "Burner Max" pack so that makes it pretty simple, if your drive was manufactured in the last 6 months in all likelihood you will probably have the latest firmware on the drive, check that info also.
