XGD3 Help with IMGBurn NBA 2K13

Hello,
I have been trying to no avail to get a proper burn of NBA 2K13 backup. I have previously burned back ups of Madden13 and AC Revelations. I know there are many threads with IMGBurn settings, and I have tried all the ones I have found. I am using IHAS 124B with burnermax and Verbatim mmk-001's writing at 2.4x. I have used both kprobe2 and nero discspeed to verify with similar results. When using discspeed I can get to about halfway before I get a major PI spike, and then my quality score drops to around 50-60%. Have tried clearing OPC before EVERY burn with both IMGBurn, and eeprom. Is there some key thing I'm missing. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to be clear with everything I've tried. Maybe I'm overthinking it:facepalm:

Get a good power supply and a good ide to sata power cable. It helps. VGCrepairs sells a good quality power supply. Ebay sells them and i have bought a power supply from ebay but it was low, low quality trust me it was junk, but the one i have from vgcrepairs works well. As far as ide to sata power cable use this one,


Bought it off ebay. Works well and get yourself that power supply from VGCrepairs. It works well.

Thanks for your fast response! I'm using an external enclosure, wasn't too cheap unfortunately. It's a NexStar DX. Power supply was made for this drive. Maybe I got a bunk enclosure. hmm. Thank you!

Also have tried using my X360USB Prov2 with Molex power to run the drive with no real difference. Could it be the fact that I'm using bootcamp on my Macbook Pro?
