Hi all ,
Ok i`ve been jtagging for a while and up until now i`ve not really had a problem. I`m not adept with a multimeter and would like a little help if poss please .
The problem is i can`t dump the nand . This board had been messed with before and was a dead board when i got it . I`ve shorted the nand and got it to now power up and give me a e71 error which is a start (well better than a dead board anyway) so .. i installed the j1d2 wiring and tried to read the nand and got "no flash controller " error .
I`ve rewired a few times and get nothing . I`ve now removed all wiring and want to test the J1D2 port for possible errors and need to know how to go about it. I dont have a camera so you`ll have to take my word for it when i sai I can solder ok and the last person who tried didn`t mess the port up by burning or breaking tracks.
My multi meter doesnt have a speaker so i have to use ohms .
What I put the red lead on ground (screw hole) I get the following readings from each point which i`m sure isnt right , so if some of you clever fellows could help me i`d be extremely greatful .
J1D2 , multi meter set to 20 ohms
points ... 1 2 3 4
reading in same order ...0.02 4.41 4.32 0.48
These reading me nothing to me except maybe point j1d2 1 is short to ground ??
please help me i`d love to get this going . I have plenty of salvage boards for parts if i need them .
Thanks in advance for any help .
