i have a regular xbox and i spray painted my jewel white. i want to make the rest of my black case white too. can i just use the same spray paint? my jewel came out pretty good

There are some great tutorials at xbox-scene.com on case painting. For best results, use a base, then the paint, then a clear glaze.
you could just always order a case....on ebay there is some really really cheap ones for like 10.00$
White seems to be a pretty popular choice..i took out my jewl lol broke it into 4 pieces and then spraypainted the 4 pieces white...it doesnt look to bad lol

I'd get some cool tribal stickers or a bio-hazard sticker... paint the whole thing with base... then blue... let it dry... stick the stickers on there... then paint it white and peel off the stickers... then paint it with the glaze.
That'd give you some killer designs on your box!
