Hello yall. I have Xbox 360 Slim 1071 drive and its currently in lt+2.0 CFW. So I want to upgrade it to lt+3.0

I want to first revert to stock firmware, update the Dash and then update to newest LT+.

Now the problem is I didn't flash this xbox and I don't have the original files (dummy.bin , drive key etc)

So how can I fix this issue?

Please help. Thanks

The only way of getting key is dumping firmware, as for dummy.bin... IDK. Check with the person who flashed it, most everyone I know who flash drives, keep those files.

You can dump your current dummy.bin etc with slimkey on jungleflasher, then when it ask to autoload cfw, click no. Then in the firmwaretool32 tab in JF select "open target fw" then you should have "stock firmware" folder in your jungle flasher directory. In the 1071 folder select "Orig-1071.BIN" then click "spoof source to target" and it should put your dvd drives key from your current dumped dummy.bin into the ofw 1071, then just flash it by follwing jf tut (unlock spi, then write etc)

If you dont have that original dummy bin for your slim you are sol. Slims are different. You can use a "generic" dummy like with the phats to revert back to stock. Anybody who flashes should know to supply you with all orignal files. If not rgh is your only way to go for the time being.

You need to read the firmware from the drive and save the drive key. Load the stock firmware for your drive in the taget section of Jungle Flasher. Then choose to manually spoof your drive, choose the key bin you created from the firmware you read from your drive. Then write it to your drive :)

Slims are different when it comes to the drive being flashed. You need the original dummy bin before the cfw got flashed to it. With the phats you can use the ofw's that are provided here on the forum or xbins. You cant do it with the slim to revert back to stock. Try and contact the guy who flashed your box because as I said before theres nothing you can do now.

When you read the firmware from the drive it will also read your key even though it doesnt have the original firmware on it. After you read your firmware click on the "Firmware Tool 32" tab, on the right you will see the option that says "Save Drive Key" hit that button and save it somewhere that you will be able to find it. Then down at the bottom which is "Target" and hit "open Target Firmware" and choose the stock firmware for your drive from the firmware pack. Then next you wil hit "manual spoofing" and when that window opens choose "Load Key Bin" and choose the key you saved. Then write it to your drive. Hope this helped you :)

If you cant contact the guy, then you will need to have someone help you fix your firmware. My friend had to get a dummy bin from someone and they worked together to build the firmware to work on his drive. His name on here is GhostFace606

I thought that if you have a dummy.bin from the drive stock or cfw then it would work? I know that if you just optain the dvd key from xell (after rghing console) then that is not enough to flash drive to stock.

If you can obtain your key from rgh then that IS enought to be able to create your dummie.bin in JF
you should have the OFW in the F/W pack

If you do not have a dummy.bin that is currently working on the console you can not, obtain key from xell, then flash drive with that key to slim drive and use it in the console. Dummy.bins for slims have more keys or whatever that are needed for the drive to work. I learned this the hard way, when i tried matching a drive with a console i bought with no drive, and did not have dummy.bin for. I had to get it working by rghing console, then modding nand, to have the dvd key of new drive, then disableing fcrt with xebuild.

Why stress with rgh?! Dump your dummy.bin spoof too orig fw then write.
Dosen't matter if the dummy is created from drive with cfw or ofw.
The challange with slim FW is injecting key only too FW.
Is there any difference between RGHing key vs just dumping key?

Also where can I get OFW? If may I ask.

Just to let you guys know my xbox drive is fully working on LT+2.0. It's NOT empty drive!

Yes there is, for slim drive. Dumping dummy.bin has other files in it that are needed to get drive working after reflash. Just getting key from rgh xell is not enough, the drive wont work in that console it needs the other keys in dummy.bin. There is away to get drive working that way, you just need to disable fcrt, and change dvd key in nand. Then it will work but has to stay a rgh console. But anyways, since you have a dummy.bin from that drive your fine. IF you want you can pm me your dummy.bin and ill send you a stock ofw, with its key etc :D, if you cant figure it out

a RGH only gives the 16byte drive key.

With the slims, they incorporated much tighter security. there is a large chunk of data in the firmware that is made up of drivekey & serials and in most drives (0225+) heavily encrypted.

A RGH doesnt generate this sector of firmware, it must be recreated.
