I have a 1.6/1.6b box dips at off on off off (Flash Mode) tried for many hours , I burned about 10 or so bins thinking that I didn't have the right one because of the box refusing to flash for me.
I then found tutorial about the chip(xecuter 3CE) having a Flash protect switch on it and to turn it left to flash. Ok , so I did that, went to my flash from disc mode screen and wallah flash started and finished. The box then shut off. Throughout all this confusion I forgot to write what flash file I burned to the disk. Switches now set at on on off off I get nothing ..Black screen. Switches at off on off off the chip is blue, turns on and off 3 times then eject button flashes red. When I hit the eject , nothing happens.The box does seem to operate with chip disabled. Is there any hope? Please help
