Help with some flashing

I believe my install is working but I dont get a flashbios screen. I can boot up normaly but not into the flash. The lights appear to be working. This is my first mod and a friend who already modded his xbox told me I have a 1.6. Now I am not too sure. I Thought I bought a X3CE but I cant get a flash bios screen from any bank settings. Please help me out. All the lights on my proswitch work, and come up the correct color with the designated button press, but I never get anything other than the MSdash. Thanks.

Ok, so it turns out I dont have X3CE but I do have a v1.6b board. What am I to do, as I cannot get any video to flash my bios?

I replied to your pm. First, make sure you are using the stock a/v cable. Second, you need flashbios 3.0.3 flashed on to your X3.

in your pm, you mentioned you have 1.6b xbox but here you said 1.6. Double check by looking at the memory to see if they are samsung or hynix. If hynix, it's v1.6b
