Okay, so I finally got wxRipper working on my PC, and I made an ISO of the game, but what I want to do is get the SS file from the Game. Does anyone know how to do that? When I use Xbox 360 SS Merger 1.7b, when I load the .iso, it has a box come up, and I click yes, just like in the tutorial video. It took a while to load, and I think it worked, and then I loaded an SS file that I got, but the 2 bars that are supposed to be green, after you load the SS file, or RED. So does anyone know how to get the SS file from the Game itself, so that I can just load that one instead? Thanks

In order to extract the security sector, you need to use either your Xbox 360 drive hooked up to your PC and detected in Windows (0800 mode / Mode B) .. or you can use a Kreon drive. Use Xbox Backup Creator to extract the ss. It's in the drive tools menu.
so DavGerm4 did u get any luck with that i wus having the same problem to when i ss merge it is red and i get like a 4k image that im suppose to burn with clone cd. how can i get the ss code using Hitachi 47
Mine have always come out RED, but they all work! You should be fine! In the SS Merger, when it asks if you would like it to look in the database for something, I just click on NO, and it works fine every time!
i'm trying crackdown, but when i use the ss merger it won't merge the file error about xtreme style length.. does anyone know how to fix this or to successfully backup Crackdown ?

i bought a kreon drive about two wks ago cost twenty pound all in. i have backed up four games now and no probs and no coasters . using xbc 2.3 to load and write works great and so easy . hope this helps.

if that the case then im going to get the samsung kreon drive sound like the best thing to do. will it work on the hitachi drive when game is burn
The games work on any flashed 360 drive regardless of brand, Kreon drives are able to extract everything together and make a fully patched and ready to burn .iso.
