Help with x3 goin purple in-game

I have an X3 that I pre-ordered back in the day and has been working no issues ever since. This past weekend, i installed the X3 Control Panel and things started acting up. After a while(i've noticed it between a 5-30 minute window) the xlcd will go blank (still backlit but no text) and the X3 logo on the front will go purple. Game is still running with no issues(it is a retail game...havnt tried a copy yet). So I turn off my xbox and sometimes when i turn it back on, the chip will either be disabled or be purple and the screen in what looks like 480P (my tv is 480i, and its been working with 1959 bios no issues).

I am runnin a 1.0 xbox with a 2913 bios. My first plan of action was to do a complete resolder. If anyone has any pointers on how to fix it, i would be greatly appreciative.

Found the issue out, in case anyone cares (if it helps).

When i tried to boot my xbox yesterday after having it unplugged overnight, it wouldnt boot with chip enabled (would frag out, but boot no issue with chip off).

So I opened it up, and sure enough when i turned it on, the 5v led was lit up. I checked all my points, since its a wire install i checked the pin in the wiring harness that plugs into the x3. it was getting 5 volts.

I thought it must be inside the header on the cip itself. I wired the Alt 5v post on the x3 straight to pi 6 on LPC (5v pad) and sure enough, 5v led lit up. I soldered it down with the alt 5v wire that came with my x3, and its been working ever since.
