Help. Xbox now only stays on for second then goes off?

Hello all. I installed the xecutor 3 on my xbox 1.6 last night, got the lpc build done and pin header etc etc, connected everything up as shown, plugged it all in and hey! I get the cromwell 3 screen straight away no problems, front panel all working as well, tried out all the different combinations, yes , everything works.

Unlocked the hard disk, no problem, put my 120 Hard disk in, still boots no problem.

So before i flash the bios i decided to put it all back together, switched on, boot three times then frag......whaaaatt?

Took the box back to bits again, Unplugged hard disk/dvd etc, and switched back on, now front panel lit, and only 1 blue led and the xbox just booting as if there is no chip installed.

So now i have re done the lpc and all connections, and now i get a number of differing results

1. Xbox powers on for 1 sec then goes off with chip and front panel installed

2. Xbox powers on with only 1 blue led lit (5v) and boots as if no chip fitted with front panel disconnected.

3. Xbox boots fine without the chip or panel connected.

Whats going on, ive checked everything a dozen times, and i still cant get any joy, but whats annoying is that it was working fine till i closed up the xbox.

Please if anyone has any ideas at all i would be very grateful.

could possibly be the d0 point...or the chip isnt press totally onto the header pin.

Hi there folks! Ive got it sorted now, it was all down due to a bent pin in the switch connection. Both leds light now, and I have managed to flash it the the latest bios, and we are up and running! Cheers and thanks, tazzy

Xecuter xDrive

I'm pretty tempted to buy one of these. For the people who have one, does it work well and what kind of uses do you use it for? Technically, i don't NEED it. I've got a spare drive i use for ripping connected to my PC right now. But it's usually pretty bitchy about the CK3 i use to power it, it causes windows to freeze about half the time, or once i power it on, programs won't start up until i power it off. It'd just be nice to have something a little more reliable to use to power my spare 360 drive.
