Help: Xbox stuck at Xecuter Rox My Box

I was wondering if anyone could help me figuring out whats wrong with my xbox. Everything was working fine with 1959 bios...I wanted to test out 3029 bios so I flashed to 3029. Everything was working fine, X3CL worked fine, EvoX loaded fine...games loaded fine. The problem started after I was trying download some X3 skins, got some tested ok but when I selected the Hazardous skin, my xbox crashed. Rebooted and now it wont go pass the Rox My Box logo...I have tried everything from booting into backup to erase EEPROM..none did the trick. tried to flash back to 1959 off a CD and DVD..that didnt work either...any ideas?

is it that flashing back to 1959 didnt work because it would not flash or u flashed it but it still hangs..

flashing 1959 via backup to the other 1 M bank should do the trick...u can ftp in and delete the offending skins

No..I couldnt flash back to anything...I tried holding the power button and eject to load backup but didnt work either...if I disable the X3, it will load into MS dash fine

can u get a flashbios screen from either of the 1M banks ie
on,on,off,off,off or off,on,off,off,off

im surprised backup does not bring anything up r u sure u hit the buttons right...
if u hit both at exactly the same time then it usually fails
press pwr and hold then press eject immediately after and release both.
u should get a purple x and flashbios 3.01
so long as its not a 1.6b then u should be ok

STOP PRESS...if u can get a flash bios screen then get the new 3108 bios from the usual places..this has the faulty skin crash bug fixed.

Flash that back to your X3 and your done

sb...I thank you for helping out...now I'm able to boot the backup from bank 5678. Altho I'm still not able to do anything yet since the boot screen does not recognize my Logitech wireless controller...I'll try to do it to night and see if all will go well.

yes make sur eu don't overwrite this bank until u get a good flash on 1-4...

boot flashbios from 5678 then change dipswitch to on,on,off,off,off (bank1234) and then flash 3108

if that does not work then u will have to set up a 256K bank on bank 8 and flash evox bios to it..then install evox dash and delete the skins thru that way.
Thats why its important to protect this last bank until u can get in on 1234

sb, just want to update and thanks again for helping..it turned out to be the X3 chip..apparently its a bad chip..had it replaced and everything is working fine.
