I just installed a X3 chip. It went very well. I, however am unable to find a BIOS that works. I believe I have a Ver.1.6 b. Can anyone Help please.

The problem in detail:
I tried flashing the 3.01 and 3.03. When I try to boot to the new bios the machine will turn on-off three times and stay on with a black screen. The halo for the eject is flashing red and I am unable to eject? Is there a different bios out there for me? I am a novice and a idiot at but I did however install the new chip. Thank you very much for any help.

First, only Flashbios 3.03 will work since you have a 1.6b, and secondly, are you using the 1.6 specific bios? There are two version of the X3 bios, one for 1.6 (and 1.6b) and one for all other boxes. Make sure you used the right one.

Can you even get into flashbios when you start up? If not can you get onto the backup bios (hold power and eject)? Give us a little more info so we can help you out.

I am unable to find the 1959plus16 bios download. I'm guesing it's because of teamxecuters server upgrade.

I found it in xbins.org but the link took me back to teamxecuters web site

Pay particular attention to item “E”.
