help!

ok my problem is when i bot up my xeuter mod chip ....i flashed it bios 301
and now when i try to load bios from hdd /:C it tell me there no bios found
i know i should have used nero but my computer doe not take it for some
reason i been trying to get my mod chip to work for 4 weeks no and i hardly get any
sleep ... i am using disk juggeler to create my bios for my chip please help if u can thanx ......

also how do i boot my bios do i need to put them in the evox maybe thats what im doing wrong ?? maybe i need to put my bios in a sub folder in evox ? if so let me know im new to this ....and i really want it to work badly spent alot of money doing this lol thanx

sounds like your trying to flash 301. and thats already on your chip.. you need bios 3029... I would suggest doing a little more reading...and there isn't any bios stored on your hdd unless you put them there in C/bios/3029

first off make sure you have your settings to on, on, off, off, off for banks 1-4... then however you want to do it.. I personally like to flash them on its alot easier then burning them...you can find out how to do this in the FlashBIOS Tutorials on the main page..and make sure if you have a 1.6 you use the 3029v1.6 if any other version use just the 3029.

i only have 2 banks 1 and 2 ?? how do i get to bank 4 and 5??

on your front bank select you want the buttons set to on, on, off, off, off..that flashes banks 1-4

yea but i cant use nero because im computer cant take it but im using disk juggler so is there a tutorial for disk juggler ?

not that I've ever seen...and I've never used disk juggler..but like I said before try flashing it, just follow the FlashBIOS Tutorials on the main page..If your set on using a cd just give it a try with your disk juggler and see if it works if it dosn't try it a different way till it works.

which bin file to use da v1.6 bin or the other bin my xbox is v1.6 so i go with the v1.6 bin right i think i know but jst want to make sure

i flashed 3029 to my v301 now my xbox is flashing red then green ova and ova is it suppoed to do that ?

are you sure you don't have a 1.6b..If you are sure its a 1.6 and not a 1.6b then recheck all your solder connections...if you have a 1.6b then you need to flash 3.0.3 first before 3029..and make sure your bank select is set right

I assume you have the Xapt3r? If you were able to flash then I think you are using the correct flashbios. Are you using X3 3029 v16plus.bin? and did you set your switches to on on off off off?

well, since it's fragging now, you can get flashbios to come up again by pressing both power and eject buttons at the same time until your X3 cp turns purple. Then you can try to flash again. If you still have problem, try http flash method. It's a hell simplier if you have a router or crossover cable available.
