well tell me if you have a router or crossover. If have router is dhcp enabled or disabled?

i have a xcuter solderless mod chip so i did not solder anythining and also i have a crossover cable wit a nic card

First make sure you have a crossover cable connected to your PC and xbox. Second, make sure to have X3 3029 v16plus.bin (your profile says you have v1.0 xbox?) in a folder on your PC. Third, on your PC, configure so that the PC ip is something like 192.168.0.X where X=1-254 except 99. Reboot your PC just to make sure. Fourth, make sure flash protection is off on the X3 chip.

On your xbox, set your X3 cp switches to on on off off off. Boot up your xbox to flashbios (press power + eject buttons at the same time). Your xbox will try to find an assigned ip, It may get an assigned ip or it may not. You need to look at your tv screen to see what ip was given, It may be the default of 192.168.0.99.

Now, on your PC, open up Microsoft IE and type in : http://192.168.0.99 (or whatever ip was given to your xbox). You should see flashbios screen. From there use browse button to direct to your X3 3029 v16plus.bin file. Your TV screen should start showing your X3 is flashing. You are then done.

but when i go to Microsoft IE and enter my IP address it says it cannot be found, is it because i do not type the http://, i held the power and eject button but it does nothing i cant get back to flash bios screen. what should i do?

read my instructions carefully. Make sure you use a crossover cable and not a patch cable. Second, when you set your switches to on on off off off and boot, does flashbios come up? If it does, you don't need to press power + eject button. Third, you need to wait for your xbox to fully boot to flashbios and look to see what ip was assigned to your xbox (it should be on your tv screen). That is the ip that you type into your PC MS IE and not the ip of your PC.

what do u mean by on on off off off i only have 2 banks ?? plaease explain ?

the only thing i see is led off or off 1 swicth for bank 1 and 2 flash protect on or off swicth ,chip enabled off or on swicth ....... so what do u mean by on on off off off ??
im confused ???

i dont have that i have 1 swicth for bank 1 and 2

im so sorry like i told u ima noob at this mod chip stuff lol i been trying to get this mod chip to work for weeks now ..if i get it to work i will send you a big medal !!!! cause this is the closets i ever got to making it work and its thanx to people like u on this forum...........

nope. If you have solderless (xapter or xapt3r), it's fine.
