I have an Xecuter3 CE with the X3 control panel w/LCD screen on a version 1.0 Xbox.

I’ve been running on an X2 bios while I waited for LCD support on the X3 bios for the longest time.

I finally downloaded X3 v.3108 and flashed my box. Here’s what happens:

The box sits for a moment with the blinking amber light. Finally the LCD comes on and displays "Team Executer. www.teamxecuter.com <http://www.teamxecuter.com/>"

I never get a video signal or anything.

I’ve tried all of the older versions of the X3, and they all do the same except version 1463. This one gets to the flubber and then says

"Xecuter3 chip not detected".

I’m back running the X2 bios, and my lcd is useless for the moment.

Any suggestions?

I haven't used an LCD, basically coz my Mrs doesn't want me "throwing away money on useless toys..." hmmm :rolleyes:

But I post because I have seen so many users who have their X3LCD working correctly with an X3 Bios. Basically I offer no advice, just hope! :p

lol yea i know that, but i don't know who all to look for.. i've searched all of the postings and the readme's... and nothing is helping... that's why i came here

Some truth.... You'll find that they are more abundant the further north you go, ( :) I was talking geographically... get your mind out of the gutter!!)

I think it may be a case of "the grass is always greener on the other side"... but there some very attractive women here!

I was hoping to get an aboriginie girl with a bone through her nose and a 3 foot high afro... but whatever. I just go nuts over the accent!! And if she can ride a crocadile... that'll come in handy...:eek:;):):D

You just need your Gf to wear one of those voice changer things. Hey if they can make Hayden Christianson sound like James Earl Jones then they can do anything!!

haha thanks, i read that post, and i'm not sure if that applies to my problem. The people whom are running the latest bios's have no problem with it working, but when i try it out it doesn't work. The modchip plays games fine and loads evox (2) and media center, but the lcd won't come on unless i flash it with the x3 bios it lights up the screen but i can't see anything on the tv, i've tried it with a few different x3 bios's and they all do the same thing
