Hey all,
I have installed my Xecuter 2.6 mod chip and booted up my xbox and I get the blue screen with the flashing stuff on, but thats where I get stuck!

my aim is I want to install a new and larger hdd as the current one is dead (my mate hit the xbox and sort of umm broke it lol) I also want to put evox on it but I just cant work out where to go from the blue screen.

I have been reading about installing a flash bios thingy but I just don't know what this means or what I need to do it, I have got the hdd installation tutorials and I think I can do that its just what I need to do from the blue screen to installing the hdd.

Sorry for being simple!!! but I only saw the inside of the xbox yesterday lol

you need to flash the chip with a bios frist x2 5035 you need to no what xbox you have
http://www.xbox-scene.com/versions.php
then get the right bios for xbox
x2 5035 old for v1.0 to v1.5 xbox
x2 5035 v16 plus for v1.6 v1.6b xbox

heres a guide on how to flash do a search on flashing chip on forum and read post so you learn on what not to do off to work check you out later 12 hour

I have version 1.4

I have tired to do the flashing thing but when I put the disc I have created into the xbox drive it just sits there saying "waiting for drive" and then ejects the disc after about 30 seconds, could it be the make of the CD-RW (I dont know the make of the one I am using!)?

I have sorted that problem, I http'd it now I just have to get my hdd prepared, will give that a go tomorrow
