ok started jungle flasher
went to mtk flash 32
went through my ports to find drive
hit lite-on erase
hit yes to proceed through the boxes
it went through and when the drive returned status came up i cycled the power.
I hit intro
I got status 0x72 vendor mode
I than hit write and it said no target buffer loaded
Jf did not autoload firmware for 93450
so i went to load the firmware for ixtereme 1.1 93450
clicked on that and my comp froze

you hit lite-on erase right away?

you never dumped the drive.

your key is lost.

there is NOTHING you can do for that box

time to go buy a new one

no, you didn't

you never dumped the key off the drive

for lite-on 7xxx series, this involved the use of a probe
for lite-on 8xxx sereis, this involved the use of lo83info or the MRA hack
the 9xxx series requires the use of a prove v2, or MRA hack

next time, use the latest version of the jungleflasher tutorial

you didn't brick the drive, it will still work as a dvd player

it still functions as a dvd player, so its not bricked

you just lost the information that links it to the xbox motherboard, making the xbox useless other than a dvd player

is your dashboard of your xbox 7371 or lower?

found under system-console setting-system info

if it is higher than 7371, that xbox will NEVER play games again

if it is 7371, then it is JTAGable and you can get the key from the motherboad through lots of soldering

Worst part is it's not mine.....From what i read i thought jf wouldn't even detect the drive unless it was modded? Is that wrong?

yep, drives are always detected

you just need to get the keys off them

this involves many methods for many drives

looks like you are out some money

Dude. U obviously don't understand that the only way to get a key from your 9 series drive would involve soldering. And if u tried to unlock or write or get in vendor mode or something like that. U has made a huge error. Xbox is a big dvd player.
