Helpppp.........Newbie with XBox/xecuter

Hi, I Have a XBox that I bought 2 yrs. ago, then a friend installed a modchip(in the beginning says Xecuter 2) but I don't know which version is: neither the console or the Chip. How can I discover that?? I'm asking this because I want to know if I need to update the bios and I would like to install XBMC. Despite I don't know how to do it.
I apreciate all the help you can give me.

Open up your xbox and take a look at the chip. That'll tell you what kind it is. You can find a picture of most chips online here.

To load xbmc, download the files from xbins mirror site, then FTP them to your xbox.

Since you like reading, as you stated earlier, Do a search on my posts mate. You'll see the vast majority are helping people without telling them to read anything. Trust me.
