Wouldn't it make sense to have a psp forum now...? Since Xecuter anounced it's involvement in the psp scene, Kids are going to be flocking to the xecuter forums... Since there's no place for them to go, they're just going to hang out in these forums, asking if the v1.5 firmware is hacked until they pass out.

It's great news to see Xecuter accomplish something where noone else has come close. I'm sure they are just perfecting the firmware update, adding extra features and making it solid before release. It will be wild -- Sony is probably having a Conniption fit. Good work fellas.

Read the news on the front page. First off, I'm really glad that Team Xecuter got involved with the PSP. Their quality of work is simply a thing of beauty. I do have a question of clarification though, and it's about this comment on the main page:

"the firmware dumper is already working and there has good progress been made in booting games and also homebrew on different firmware versions (v1.5 etc)."

I was wondering if the "v1.5 etc" was a typo, or if they are stating simply that they are making good progress, but HAVE NOT actually executed any homebrew games/code on 1.5/1.51. I have no problem waiting while they make sure their work is fine tuned and as solid as possible for release, but knowing whether that statement is true or not would easily hold me over until that time. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that was their intention... I'm guessing they just haven't released anything. I do think there should be a psp forum, though. I'd volunteer to be a moderator, but I'm sure there are much more qualified people around. That and I don’t want to sound like a wiener. But if it would help, I’d do it. :D

No worries.. I'm glad someone agrees. (c-:

And I agree with you as well.. I wouldn't doubt if they already had something in the works that is a few steps ahead of all the other psp forums I've been trying to keep up with. Official word from a team member would be nice, but that's just me being impatient :p. I have faith, and even if the psp proves to be too much of a craptastically closed off system, I'm glad the team at least looked at it for us and will still be cheering in line for a 360 mod or whatever project that follows.

I think that would be reasonable. Not that I would EVER doubt the guys at Xecuter, but I would like to see (or at least hear about) some proof of their progress. This would also clear out some rumors that seem to be spreading. I would even be satisfied with a team member simply saying, "It almost works." At least then I could be certain they are actually working on this.

I agree that a PSP forum would be useful - especially when they start releasing things.

I don't have an Xbox, and only came to this site because of the PSP news. I think a lot of people will start flowing through here, and a little interaction with someone from the Team would be really well received.

It's Xecuter for crying out loud! If they say they are working on something, they are working on something.

official word would be very nice. If this hack is as good as everything else they have done, it's gonna be kick ass.

i fourth the psp forums
i would also like to hear from a team member, but if they are not talking so they can work even harder, then no word is neccesary.

Who are the mods in these forums, anyways...? Is there any way to contact anyone here of high standing...?

They don't like to be PM'd so don't try.

They haven't let us down yet, have they? They are very good at keeping their word. It's just a matter of time, my friends.
