So when the Kreon Drive "reads" the game disc it makes an .iso and a .dvd file with layer break for burning with clone cd, my question is, does the created .iso already have the ss.bin, pfi.bin and dmi.bin already merged into it, or do those have to be extracted seperately and then merged with ss merger?

I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm fairly certain (99%) that the files are merged since it's extracting the entire image.

.I assume you're using XBC to make your images, if so then yes everything is already there for you. You can also test this on any image by going to Tools --> Stealth Check in XBC and it will check for ss.bin, pfi.bin and dmi.bin.
(I think it's Tools --> Stealth Check but that might not be the exact path, I don't have XBC installed on this machine. But it's 2 or 3 tabs to the right of the Read/Write tabs.) :wink:

After i backup the game with the kreon drive do i have to do anything to the iso file or do i just burn it and it will work
You should have 2 files...one of them is .iso and the other is .dvd (which sets the custom layerbreak). Just open the .dvd file in XBC (which I prefer) or IMGBURN and burn at 2.4x and it should work fine.bigsean713 said:
