If im running freedash 2.2 final can i take a phat xbox harddrive case dump a 1tb laptop drive into it and still be able to use it as a HDD for my media?

You can use any hard drive in your reset glitched console.
Fit it, format the drive using the standard dashboard (Metro/NXE) and you are good to go.

just dont try sticking anything above 2.5tb onto it as you may encounter problems :wink::wink:
