i hit restore eepromm by accident, not it wont read the partitions, i tried to reformat the drive, but it doesnt work. I also tried using a different hdd, same problem. I also tried using a blank eeprom, and that didnt work. I have a 1.0 and finding it hard to do anything when it wont write to the hdd. I also cant boot up off a dvd to get into config magic. what should i do?

It sounds like your HD is locked. you need to get it unlocked in order to work with the new eeprom, or put your old eeprom back.
Search the forums on HD lock and you should get all the info you need. In fact, one of the messages just a few down is talking about locked hd's.
