Hitachi 0047JD modeB help

Plz can some one help me i cant get my friends Hitachi 0047JD into modeB using Slax plz help

Note - i get no error's when the Slax cd is runing the files on my pc.

and when i get to the login screen the drive is not in modeB

I not to good on using slax but you could try the two pin trick though this can be tricky to do but if you are desprate you could try it follow this link for a tutorial.
