Hitachi 0078 Booting

im trying to flash a hitachi 0078 and when i place it into b-mode and try to load my pc to windows it stucks on the loading bar and the OS wont load. Anyone have suggestions? and can it be caused by Slax2 when i try to restart by holding down the power, i see slax2 commands under login, can that be the problem?

I had the exact same problem when I flashed my 78. I wish I had advice for you, but I just kept trying, and finally it loaded. Hope you eventually get it rockin.

ok i FINALLY did it. I got pissed bc windows wont boot so i tried it in safe mode and it worked i got it flashed. OH and thank you 360mods for the video tutorials it was really helpful much appreciated ^^

For future reference... in case somebody searches ...

Also try updating your SATA drivers and opening/closing your drive using at the Windows loading bar.
