HITACHI NON-79 Hitachi 47 Drive, Can I Replace With A Lite-On An LT+ 3.0

Hi,

I have a console with a Hitachi 47 drive in it that as far as I am aware cannot be flashed to LT+ 3.0. Can I extract the key and flash this to a Lite-On / Benq drive that does support LT +3.0.

Sorry for the stupid question just not sure about drive swaps etc.

*Edit: I have a CK3i and relevant VIA card to do the jiggering *

stick with the 47 because they don,t need lt3.0 because lower hitachis don,t have AP2.5 checks,flash the 47 with lt2.0

Oh that is fantastic thank you. If I have backups that have been burnt on an iHas burner (i.e non truncated) but are burnt for LT +3.0 will they still work on the Hitachi?

yes they will but truncated backups is not supported on hitachis so you will need to burn all your xgd3 backups with an ihas burner with burnermax frimware and also patch your backups through abgx

Thank you, yea all are burnt with an iHas with burnermax firmware and are patched with latest abgx.

I shall go and grab LT 2.0 to flash on the Hitachi then, thank you.
