hitachi 47 drives xdg3 games

Is there a new firmware out yet for hitachi drives 47. and if not, does any one know a eta on them.or can anyone suggest were i can buy an up to date drive for a good price..

I have the same drive , updated with the 2.0 firmware but it wont let me plat the new xgd3 games. WHATS THE PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP.

P.S ..... I had 2.0 on 13(whatever) dashboard and the new 14(whatever) dashboard STILL A NO GO.:duh:

i just updated my hitachi 59 to 2.0 on the 13599 dash and it wont let me play my XD game backups. the earlier ones seem fine so im taking the flash is fine. Im having a buddy of mine try to do a backup for me and see if its just my burner/burns. I hear these are a bit more picky/tricky

Hitachi will NOT play truncated burns - so all Xdg3 need to be burnt on Liteon iHas using iXtreme burner Max fw.
Also use the best quality media you can get (verbs)
as sh*tachi are crap at reading backups at the best of times - you also need a modicum of luck.

well i did trunc the BU so i guess that explains it. i did use verbs so that is check. I dont have a lite on drive i believe, but my buddy may. Thanks BH

you will need to flash the fw on the burner- there is a tut in the download section about how to do this!
