HITACHI NON-79 Hitachi 47 Help

My friend has an xbox that originally has a benq drive in it. He gave me a hatachi 47 that he wanted flashed and isntalled in his xbox.

Now is it smart to spoof a hatachi drive to a benq? I though this caused bans now? on xbl.

Also. I already spoofed the drive when I was fooling around so now it reads as the benq drive (vad6038 - 0442). I want to at least restore this drive back to its original status but i cannot use the benq unlock or the hitachi tab in JF. Is it now impossible to intro the device to JF?

I appreciate all comments and any help regarding this issue. So far my experience has just been flashing the original drive that came with the xbox. This may be a bit out of my league. :biggrin:

How come you can't intro the BenQ drive or put the Hitachi drive into vendor mode ?The Hitachi drive just click on Send Mode B,open the drives tray,switch off the drive,click ok then switch the drive back on,the tray should close by itself,if not then just push the tray closed,wait a few seconds then scan for hardware changes and the drive should show up and in vendor mode

The hitachi drive is now spoofed as a benq. I cannot use the benq unlock tab under mtx flash 32 or get the drive to work under the hitachi tab because the drive is being recognized as the benq drive I mentioned

Right now the main thing I want to do is restore the hatchi drive back to normal. its spoofed as a benq drive right now so i cant seem to restore it. I believe thats because the hitachi tab wont recognize the drive now that it is spoofed and the benq unlock tab doesnt work either.

The only other thing I would like to know is if I can use this drive in his xbox (which originally was a benq) he gave me the hitachi drive to use because the other one is broken

I have just done undone this spoof but with a 79 not 47, if you connect drive to usbpro2 and molex power but dont connect usb to pc, open JF got to hitachi tab click on USmodeB, send mode B make sure your drive is selected in drop down list on top right then dump, then restore,

THIS MAY NOT BE CORRECT OR EASIEST WAY, BUT DID WORK FOR ME, EVENTUALLY DID THIS AND VOILA
