Ever time i dump the drive the key is the same 474747474747473 YE i know it should not be but i am stumped as the console was working b4 trying to update dashboard then getting e66 error
until this the console was thought to be untouched and unflashed :mad2:

I think you need to get the key but as you mentioned the consoles dead so umm dont think you can do anything, Btw sorry for not reading your post properly :(.

i have found that there is another thread with the same problem so my bad for not finding it before :redface:
i have tried flashing the 474747474747474 firmware to a ms25 and get Play dvd what i expected :rolleyes2: the only thing is that it had a warranty seal in place but not a ms seal i will have to find out where the person purchased it from and let them fight it out with them and i bet some low life sold it to them on flea-bay after swapping drives :mad2:
I was just hoping the key maybe retrievable and replace the drive but i fear not.
