Hitachi 47DH in half modeB?

I getting ModeB on my drive (LED blinks rapidly) but when I go to eject the drive, all it requires is one press. im ejecting the tray off of the xbox 360 button and it seems the drive revert back to normal. is this because i need to hold the short for a split second longer?

of course, the drive doesn't show up in windows. it crashes if i try to plug it in post loading with an IRQ blue screen of death. Im new to this and would like some help trouble shooting my situation.

i have heard of this problem, many people are having similar problems i am going to flash my drive within the next few hours. hopefully i dont get this porblem, another guy pm'ed me jamebond. he has a very similar situation. i think its something to do with the older hacked firmware on the drive.

yeah it took me a few times to get my 360 into modeB but flashed it fine. i have not got the internet in the house (changing isps), hopefully i dont get banned.

So your doing the resistor trick? if so you wouldnt need to press the eject button cause as soon as the 360 turns on the green light should flash. If it is not flashing then your not getting into b mode at all. Your green light will always flash when you press the eject button before mod and after mod. You need to hold a tad of a second longer to force B mode.
