hitachi 59 flashing?

Whats up guys.i am having problems flashing a hitachi 59 drive.Ok here is my setup.
Im not using Usb Pro or Ck3.Im only using my via card and i use xbox 360 to power on drive.I use this set up for all other drives with no problems.Im using windows xp.My via card is enabled(or should i disable it?)
please check out my pics they should show u my whole set up and results.It says mode b done but i dont see the drive ubder drive property.When i try to dump the drive it says (Drive rev undetermined, Aborting!).
Can someone help please?I would really appreciate it.

You will need the via drivers installed for a hitachi you will have to delete them after tho to flash other drives again

or just try one of your onboard sata connections

I had the most sucsess doing this, I hated doing hitachi's untill I connected it direct then there so easy I put them 2nd to BenQ's.

i dont have an onboard sata,thats why im using the via card
then you will need to install your via drivers so it picks up the hitachi drive as daman has mentioned

Hitachis are one of the few drives ive had success with flashing from on-board SATA, And Lite-On's ... I bought a VIA card but it was useless. IM X360USB v2 all the way now (congratulations to me on my 25th post :p)

not sure what part about no xecuter product = no support you failed to understand

using an xbox as a power source = not supported

ck3 mini = $14.95
x360usb = $49.95

OR

x360usb v2 = $79.95

hassle free drive flashing = PRICELESS
