HITACHI NON-79 Hitachi 59 problem reading just one XGD3 game

So i updated my Hitachi 59 to LT2.0 and tried playing my own game backups, My rip of MW3 plays flawlessly as does Forza 4, but for the life of me i can't get it read my Battlefield 3 single player disk(disk 2).

I have ripped it again and again, burned it on Singapore verbs, and Kprobe results are excellent, but no joy, i've cleaned the laser and adjusted the pot, nothing,

Just to add it plays my original BF3 single player (disk 2) fine.

Any ideas?

I had this issue with my backup of BF3 and the only solution i found to work is to use the same method as if you had the silent update. Load the update on a USB drive and your off and running. Worked great for me.

Search for "get your games back up and running after silent dae update"

Thanks for reply mate, i was under the impression that silent update had no effect on older Hitachi's

And why would i still be able to play BF3 disk 1 multiplayer?
