HITACHI NON-79 hitachi 59 Problem

Using my laptop, 6421 card, ck3 pro, my cousin gave me his xbox to flash so he can back his games up like i do, so our kids dont kill them lol. Drive is a Hitachi 59, flashed went great LT 2.0, all originals play, put in college football 2011 back up and it played fine. Any other back ups are telling me Unrecognized Disc.

Looked around look at these threads here:

But i put those same back ups in my liteon drive and plays just fine. Do i need to use LT 2.0b? thank ahead of time

Its playing all old 2010 and before back ups with no problem. But mostly anything 2011 or after its saying Unrecognized Disc.

Have all XGD3 backups been burned at 100%? If not, they won't work on the Hitachi.

Just to add to Martins note without butting in as quoted from c4eva This version adds support for XGD3 backups, and includes the LT-MAX feature which supports full XGD3 ISOs burned on regular DVD+R DL media with iXtreme Burner MAX. *NOTE: Hitachi v2.0+ does not support truncated XGD3 nor Xbox 1 backups (Xbox 1 originals are fine).

lt 2.0b is for hitachi 79's only. So it's the discs

Have you checked the quality of the backups? I have noticed my older drives (older lasers) can be picky about burn quality and media type.

Had the same issue with a 47. I just replaced the laser and now working a ok. But take note of the xdg3 backups advice posted
