Hitachi 74 with dashboard 2.0.16537.0

Hi i wonder if anyone can please help me, i was running my Xbox with a really old version of the dashboard (sorry i did not write down the version) with an Hitachi 74 drive running as spoofed. i set the drive back to Stock which allowed updated the dashboard to 2.0.16537.0 as i could not update the dashboard when it was spoofed and then flashed the drive again.

I can flash the drive or spoof it without problem opening or closing from JungleFlasher, the issue i have is that when i connect back to the Xbox i am unable to open or close the drive and it either says reading, opening or closing even though there is no disc in the drive or the drive door open or closed.
I only see the power light flashing green when i don't have the drive connected, when it is connected the power light and everything looks to be fine.

Could anyone please tell me what i need to do to fix this issue.

If you manually eject the drive and insert a game disc, is it read by the console?

Thanks for a quick reply i have just tried it i can read a normal when connected to the PC. If i connect it back to the XBOX and put a dvd in the drive it does not attempt to read it.

What kit did you use to restore the drive?

I have it connected via Sata to my PC, power from the XBOX and used Jungleflasher. I just done restore to Stock, this worked to allow me to update the dash, i then shut it down and tried to connect it in the same way but since it won't play ball

So it's possible you've damaged your console, which is why we don't recommend using it to power your drive.

I would get someone to look at it for you.

Ok thanks for your help, maybe like you say it has an issue or who knows somebody might have had this problem and fixed it. Thanks again
