Modded my friends old xbox over 2 years ago. His benq drive was shot. I had an hitachi 78 drive laying around so I spoofed it. Played games fine till new dash came out the ap 2.5 thing I think. Its been sitting around and I want to update the dash on it. What process should I do? This thing will never be on xbox live so that is not a concern. I have the orginal benq dummy file but no orginal file for the hitachi. Thanks.

it needs a benq in it with the rigjt key in order to update

I don't have a benq drive anymore it was thrown out? So it's stuck on this old dash with no way to work around it?

it wont update unless it is a benq drive in it , i get loads on consoles in these days that wont update , send me you address and il post you a board from a benq thats all you need mate
