lt 2.0b i flashed it and it still plays older backup fine but it doesnt read xdg3 games it jus gives me the disc unreadable error im usis the newest jf and firmware 2.0b but the question i have is how can i be for sure that its loading 2.0b instead of 2.0 bc it says 2.0 regardless if i load 2.0b or 2.0

im on the newest dash and i have a ihas 124 burner .. i have two other boxes a liteon and benq so i know my ripps and burns are good wat i was guessin is it might jus be the laser gettin a lil weak but as i said im not sure if jf is even loadin the right fw i added 2.0b myself and stillget the same results

so quick question bro if i step it down to say an older hitachi like 47 or 59 would i be able to play xdg3 fines with latest firmware for those drives ??

No, you can't spoof drives. It won't work.
Tell your customer you don't know what you're doing and have to get help on forums. Maybe he'll find someone who knows this stuff by Googling first.
i dont wanna spoof it i know u cant spoof drives anymore i wanna put another hitachi in it lower version that works .. or mabey even a liteon or benq ive been tellin them over and over again .. but they insist on gettin the damn thing to read one damn game NBA 2k12 lol sooo idk ill prolly jus tell em hey bro upgrade to a newer box with a newer drive like a benq or liteon wdy u think and dont say any smart sh*t im jus lookin for answers from a person

Ok simple solution, revert your drive back to stock, update console to latest dashboard, reflash drive to the latest LT+ Available, and make sure you have the correct one and its just not names LT 2.0 or something and infact its 1.6 if you know what I mean, judt check and double check
