Hello.
I'm Hitachi drive dl10n 0502 with a pcb LTU that came to me with problem in laser, changed it , when tested the drive he stopped eject .
The problem is in the pcb as put a pcb original hitachi and ejected normally.
These LTUs pcbs have some kind of fuses ?
this is the model:DL10N-Installed1.jpg

I would be checking the connections to the motor that controls that, I think you might have messed up 1 of the small ribbon cables.

hello , all connections are ok , I measured the continuity of pads to the pcb that energizes the motor eject and also everything is ok.

No you do not get those problems because the drive is read/ write locked
so the Hitachi GDR3120 Tab in J/F does not apply to the slims with Hitachi
I am just trying to see if the drive properties are still there to make sure nothing shorted

thought to rewrite the firmware could solve the problem, he was recognized by jf , put in vendor , did the full dump , and made the writing again .
The problem is physical.

I had one LTU-2 lite on Board do the same thing but in never worked out of the box
The next thing is to check the voltage and ground switching commands from the board to the open close motor
maybe try manually opening the drive tray then hook up CK-mini molex only then see if it responds
After that it sounds like the board is faulty !!!

I put an original pcb on this drive , with another pcb he ejects perfectly. With the pcb LTU there is no voltage on the moto

Yes I understood it works with retail PCB!! And the Hitachi has that small extra PCB that controls the switching
You can poke around more with a meter or Try the manually opening the drive tray in hopes of waking up the board
After that I am out of Ideas
