RGH Hitachi Drive In Jasper RGH

Hi, i have just RGH'd my 4th Jasper Console but this time it had no dvd drive.

Can i edit my KV.Bin and allow a Hitachi 79 drive to work instead of a liteon drive?

If so it will save me a few quid on buying a drive off Ebay.

Aslong as the keys match u can put any dvd drive in a jtag/rgh xbox.

Will it still be alright for online use as well? ive had JTAGS and RGH's before but never changed a drive for online use

u can't go online with jtag/rgh. If u are going to return it to stock then u will need to put the same drive model it came with for online use.

you can go online with a JTAG/RGH u just need to buy XboxLiveStealth. They Provide the Online Service. $15 a day isnt bad and you dont need a XBL Gold Membership either.
