Hitachi drive to Hitachi drive

i was wondering i need a new 360mobo k, if i buy one that had a Hitachi drive on it but i don't need a drive i already have a Hitachi drive 46dj thats flashed already, how would i go about swapping drives, would it be the same as follow the instructions for samsung to Hitachi, or completely different. thanks

You will need to inject the new mobo key with 360 Firmware Toolbox and also spoof the drive to whatever version was originally with that mobo. Make sure you get both the version and the key from the seller.

what if its the same drive model it had a 46d so is that the same as a 46dj im guessing it is.

Still not work m8. Heres an explanation. The motherboard has a key. For a drive to play in that mobo it has to have the same key. SO you need 2 get the new mobo key and put that into the old drive and spoof with firmware.

The key part is correct. If they are both the same version (regardless of the letter portion of the version) then you do not need to spoof the firmware.
