Hitachi-LG 59 360 USB to SATA

I tryed to flash my 59 with the sata card but in doing research it doesn't support ATAPI. I want to purchase the X360USB. Do i need the power adapter too? I think if i just leave it in my 360 and use slax2 CD to put it in mode B right? Just wanted to make sure.

ya same thing. there shipping is high to the us.then i use a old at power supply to give me the power

So i should buy the power adapter and not use the power in the 360?

its up to you just be careful with those bare solder joints if you do decide to use that to power you drive, touch that on anything conductive and its bye bye drive.
