HITACHI NON-79 Hitachi LT 2 and XGD3? and newest dash?

just flashed a couple of hitachis, got 3 in total to do, a 47, 59 and 79. left the 79 for now as the bugs in the firmware.

I was under the impression they did not have ap25 capabilities? I've flashed the first 2 with LT2 and no new backups are working, only old ones.

I've updated them to the newest dash online as they were very old ones.

what gives?

maybe you picked up the silent update updating online.
you should download update and install with usb.
Maybe I am wrong.

Yes it means you hav
e been online and picked up the MS silent update,a new firmware will be out after the 6th dec and should fix this.

I would try reflashing and verifying these drives were never spoofed. I had an error where a customer did not tell me the drives were spoofed. ie a 79 spoofed as a 47. This will cause problems, hence no spoofing is recomended.

LT+3.0 will not support truncated discs also. Go and buy new burner

to be fair these things kinda pop up on you burn your backups and then they don't work then its blind panic google searchign for an immediate answer to the problem
