i would like to know if i can put the lens from my ver 79 and put it in my ver 59 ? or is that the part that checks for ap 2.5 ? i was told that the 59 dont but the 79 does .... thanks for the help

You can swap the laser without issue and yes, the 78/79 drives do have AP25 but pre 78 drives don't.
