HitachiLG 46

Hi, I am new to flashing and was wondering what I would need to flash my drive.

It is a Hitachi-LG.
The Rom Version was 0046DH.
And it was made in Sept. 2005

I don't want to open my pc, and I do not think it has a compatable SATA port.

I have seen this X360 usb that says it can work with HITACHI-LG GDR-3120L ONLY. Do I have that? Also, Do I just connect my dvd drive into that and that connects via usb to my computer?

Thank you guys so much. I have read some of the tutorials, but I wanted to know about my exact drive.

you can flash the v46 out of wimdows. with the usb kit
