So I've read all the tutorials on this site, as well as googled dozens of times with no direct answer.
Which/what SATA card do I need to use in order to flash/update my Hitatchi 079fl?
Will the VIA VT 6421L PCI SATA Card work? A video tutorial (http://www.360mods.net/News/article/sid=58.html) on this site said (about 1:25 into the video) i needed a SIL 3112 chipset in order to flash a Hitatchi, but a text tutorial ("Hacking the Xbox 360 for Noobs", Page eight) says that SIL could brick my drive.
Contradicting indeed. Unless I'm missing something, which I probably am.
