HITATCHI Won't play XGD3 games

Hey guys,

I don't flash drives myself although I have a brief understanding of it just seeing as I only wanted my one console done I though paying someone to do it would be cheaper than buying the 360USB and CK3 to do it myself.

Anyway, I took the drive to be flashed and the guy said he was not too sure on which firmware to use so he said if I had any problems to take it back to him.

SO ... He flashed the drive firstly and when i put and XGD3 game it would give me an E66 on startup with the game in there and a black screen and no game picture in the dashboard.

I took the drive and he said 100% I needed this firmware so he put it on ... and again my 360 won't play XGD3 backups ! Although some backups give me the Game image in the dashboard but won't play just gives me a black screen but one of the games do come up in "recently played".

Is it the wrong firmware ?

Someone said I shouldn't truncate them but I buy the backups from a well known back-up's selling website. Who use good quality verbitamin discs.

Does anyone have any idea's on what could be stopping it from playing XGD3 ?
All other backups it plays great.

Well there is one problem with your post. Even though you are technically purchasing your games, since they are backups of games you do not technically own, they are illegal. Piracy talk is not permitted here.
