Heres what i wrote down for future reference for myself,

1. Install XEXMenu to internal HDD.

To Do this load XEXMenu V1.1 iso. Once in XEXMenu got to DVD
Locate CODE9999 folder and click copy.
Now paste to HDD content\0000000000000000\

Should now look like this.... content\0000000000000000\CODE9999

2. Put Freestyle dash onto a USB stick. Locate and install to content\0000000000000000\

Folder should now look like this....

content\0000000000000000\Freestyle

You will now have content\0000000000000000 with CODE999 & Freestyle Dash in there.

3. Download latest Dashlaunch and edit files like so...

[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558
Default = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\Freestyle\default.xex
[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true

Load onto a USB and run.

ok i have done the abouve and have dashlaunch on usb but how do i run it feom the dash?

yeah go into XEXMenu and select the usb stick its on and run it.

I found sometimes it would cause my console to keep switching itself off on reboot if i left the stick in by mistake.

Best bet is to copy and paste off the usb stick to content folder off Hdd and then run it from there. Once your finished with it, delete it.

it i goto demos and launch xexmenu i can run the freestyle from the default.xex file all well just wont boot into it for some reason.

I deleted the one in the flash and then rebooted xbox and ran default.xex went through config and then shut system down
powered on and loaded back to normal dash
