I've heard conflicting opinions so I just want to clarify something before I update my firmware.
My Drive is/was originally an LT 83850C. I restored it back to the original firmware, and took the newest Dashboard update changing the version to 02510C..... So far, so good.
Here's my question I've been told that I can use the original key/dummy.bin file (from when it was a 83850C) and manually spoof the new LTPlus-025-v2.0 firmware. But I've also been told that the dashboard/firmware update applies a new key to the drive when it goes from 838 to 025.
Which is correct, because I don't have a probe v3 and don't want to do the erase with out being positive first.
