HotSwap X3 question

OK, here's my problem Xbox 1.6b boots up w/chip enabled, no audio/video green light for a couple seconds then turns yellow.
From reading through the forums I have to send back the chip to get FlashBIOS 3.03 or put the X3 in another Xbox and flash.

My question is do both of the Xboxes have to be the same (1.6B)?

because one is a V1.3 w/ X3 chip and 1959 bios installed
and the the one i need flashed is V1.6b X3 chip and i want 1959V1.6 installed.

just making sure i don't screw up both xboxes.

Just boot your 1.3 Xbox with the original X3 to FlashBIOS.

Once on flashbios, replace with your X3 you want to flash (carefully!). You don't need any of the cables. Just plug it in.

Select your Flash method and flash X3 1959v16plus to your chip. It will automatically flash to Bank 1234.

When i got my chip, 3.0.1 was displayed, when i switched to 5678(off on off off) and rebooted I got 3.0.3 I got my chip from system-mods.com.

I got mine from system-mods too, except it didnt have FlashBIOS 3.03 ANYWHERE. Damn liars. I ended up having to flash it in my other xbox.
